Backstory

Hello, fellow campers! I am Sam Xorkia (the X makes the Z sound), and I am Hecate's daughter. I was always interested in magic, my dad and I would go see magic shows all the time. But then everything took a change. One normal day, I was just practicing my magic act with Mary Poppins, my bunny, and Houdini, my dog. I was practicing the ol' bunny out of a hat trick, when I heard someone knock on the door. When I answered the door, there was a man there. But this man had one eye! He grabbed me by the waist and hoisted my on his shoulder, but Houdini bit at his legs and he dropped me. I ran into the dining room, throwing whatever I could find at the monster, but he kept coming at me! When I reached the end of the doorway, I thought my life was over. I was going to be tortured by a Cyclops for the rest of my life. But then, I don’t know why, I thrust forward with all my might and closed my eyes. When I opened them again, my pursuer was nowhere to be found. In his place, I found a book. Inside of the book was spells and incantations. Then, suddenly, my mother appeared next to me. You can imagine how freaked I was, standing in front of a six-foot tall, three-faced woman. She told me that I was a her half-blood daughter and that this was my book of spells. Before parting with me, she gave me a small Celestial Bronze sword. As she left, my ears popped and I blacked out. When I woke up, I was here with MP and Houdini. Surrounded by all this magic, it gave me the warm fuzzies. And that's the story of how I arrived here at Camp, and how I met my mother.
